Infant Swimming Resource, LLC is a proven Self-RescueTM swimming program with nearly 60 years of research and development and an unparalleled safety record. ISR’s results speak for themselves: ISR has delivered more than 19,000,000 self-rescue lessons. ISR believes in multiple layers of defense against aquatic accidents including pool fences, alarms, and active adult supervision. ISR's core conviction is that the child is the most important part of a drowning prevention strategy and over 450,000 ISR graduates and hundreds of documented survival stories, are proof that children can, and do, save themselves.
HOW IS ISR DIFFERENT? For nearly 60 years, Infant Swimming Resource, LLC (ISR) has been teaching children critical Self-Rescue™ skills -- giving children the competence and confidence to safely enjoy the water. ISR's technique teaches children ages 6 months to 6 years of age how to potentially save themselves if they were to find themselves in the water alone.
SAFETY FIRST! At ISR, your child’s safety is our first priority. Each lesson is uniquely tailored to your child’s needs based on comprehensive assessment and continual monitoring of your child’s health and skill attainment. Due to the fact that every child learns at his or her own pace, your child will be gently guided through each skill level.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), drowning is the number one cause of accidental death for infants and young children between the ages of 1-4. Fortunately, the ISR program is here to help change this scenario. Each instructor is highly trained and tested in areas such as child psychology, physiology, anatomy, and behavioral science to provide the safest lesson possible for your child. Your ISR Instructor will teach your child Self-RescueTM skills, such as breath control, floating, and underwater swimming, for their water safety.
